Neef’s HCG Diet Round 2…Doing It My Way…Sorry Dr. Simeons
It’s the night of VLCD 1. I just had a whopping 6 oz filet of grouper sauteed in 1 TBSP EVCO (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil) and broccoli. For lunch I had my favorite vanilla whey protein by Jay Robb mixed in 6 oz of Silk unsweetened almond milk. I would have had a few squares of Russell Stovers sugar free mint chocolate today but i finished it on my gorge day yesterday. I’ve had 1.5 red grapefruits and I might have another before going to bed.

My 1st HCG Round…I was a good girl following all the rules…not one ounce of cheating!
Now, if you followed my last HCG diet journey, you know that I didn’t have any foods that weren’t on Dr. Simeons’ original HCG protocol. Not only that…I had to know HCG really worked. I absolutely had to know it was all everyone souped it up to be. So, i didn’t take supplements at all- think i went thru supplement withdrawal. I didn’t take my daily fiber supplements, antioxidants or super-foods. I didn’t drink my twice daily regimen of bentonite detoxificant and I didn’t do colonics…not even one! As hard as it was, I even walked very slow all the time to ensure I wasn’t burning cals from physical activity.
What was the result of all of my HCG skeptical antics?
I lost over 33 pounds and over 13 inches in 6 weeks!!! I dropped 4 dress sizes!!! Most of all for the 1st time almost ever I followed the rules and directions, and completed something successfully by surpassing my weight loss goal of 30 pounds. What’s better than all this is that I gave myself some much deserved love, care, and attention. This is what it really is about – Loving Yourself – Caring For Yourself!
This is kinda my 3rd – 2nd round on HCG…Huh?
I finished my 1st HCG Diet around January 31st. So why the long break? I actually started a 2nd round 6 weeks later in March and on my 2nd gorge day, i found out my dad (may God have mercy on him) passed away over seas. I lasted about a week then I didn’t have the emotional and mental stamina to HCG it through
. After a 2 week break, I started again and it also lasted less than a week. It’s absolutely critical to have you heart and your mind right to follow the HCG protocol. This is the case for any weight loss strategy, otherwise the result is yo-yo dieting. FYI yo-yo dieting is more damaging to the body than being obese/overweight.
My goal this 2nd round is to experiment a little by adding foods to Dr. Simeons’ list…chocolate, broccoli, extra virgin coconut oil, Zija Smart Mix, and Zija xm3 capsules, to name a few. To be honest I’ve only committed to doing 23 days this time. I’m not sure if it’s because of the rocky start of my 1st and 2nd- 2nd round or something else…like enjoying my favorite ripe fruits during the summer season. Once I’m done with the 21st injection, I’ll decide at that time to go longer.
Curious to see what the scale says in the morning, since i ate more cals and some foods not on Dr. Simeons’ list. Oh and another rule I’m breaking- taking & starting HCG while on TOM. Hey…I’m finally ready no stopping now. Dr. Simeons says NOT to start when TOM starts so if I see the scale isn’t going down by Saturday, I’ll put it off again…smh!
