Stop Holding Your Stomach In! HCG + Zija Diet Update

As I get towards the end of my 2nd round of HCG + Zija diet, I keep telling myself, “stop holding your stomach in!” I look in the mirror or I look down at my re-newed physique and tell myself this several times a week. Then I realize I’m not holding my stomach in, it’s all in my mind. It’s been so long since my tummy was actually this flat that my mind hasn’t gotten use to the reality of my smaller belly.

Mentally Holding My Stomach In…Physically Not!

The mind is definitely a powerful thing and it can be for you or against you. On the flip side of this coin, how many of you reading this right now have minds that are use to the reality that you are fat? I’ll admit that the only reason my state of obesity lasted as long as it did is because “I” accepted this state on a mental, emotional, and even spiritual level. No one forced me to live in a state of obesity, it was something I chose whether it was conscious or subconscious.

Being Fat Isn’t Being Loving To Yourself

You would most likely cringe at the thought of neglecting or abusing your children, you probably wouldn’t have any friends if you mistreated them on a consistent basis, and if you talked to your spouse the way you talked to yourself, you might find yourself divorced! I’m sure you get the point I’m making here. Obesity is a result of neglecting your health and taking care of you and if you’d really get brutally honest with yourself, you’d also see that you’re abusing and mistreating yourself. If mistreatment leads to losing friends, why wouldn’t it lead to you losing yourself- who you are at your core- who you deserve to be at your best? Then you punish yourself with negative self-talk when you eat/binge on junk or just whenever you feel like it. Where is the love…no pun intended…where is your self-love?

Finding Your Self-Love

No baby comes out the womb loathing and hating herself…these are learned behaviors or reactive behaviors. You either learned a lack of self love and care from others by their own lack of self love or because of childhood trauma or abuse (which is still a form of learned behavior), you reacted with behaviors to protect and comfort yourself as a child.

Maybe you binge eat or eat emotionally when you’re bored, happy, sad…you eat. You eat just because…just because food is presented to you. You eat when you’re not physically hungry, you eat when you’re full. You go eat when a commercial has triggered you–being a puppet on someone’s advertising string! You eat because you don’t have the confidence to say NO. You eat or don’t eat because you’re too concerned about what other people are going to say about you. Oh my and the list goes on and on. I know this 1st hand my dear and the emotional roller coaster of it all isn’t worth my precious emotional and physical health anymore.

The question for you is when is it a good time for you to feel the same? When will you decide that this emotional roller coaster is no longer worth your precious time- your precious life? HCG Diet VLCD 1 + Zija Weight Loss

Neef’s HCG Diet Round 2…Doing It My Way…Sorry Dr. Simeons

It’s the night of  VLCD 1. I just had a whopping 6 oz filet of grouper sauteed in 1 TBSP EVCO (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil) and broccoli. For lunch I had my favorite vanilla whey protein by Jay Robb mixed in 6 oz of Silk unsweetened almond milk. I would have had a few squares of Russell Stovers sugar free mint chocolate today but i finished it on my gorge day yesterday. I’ve had 1.5 red grapefruits and I might have another before going to bed.

Sauteed Grouper w/Broccoli

My 1st HCG Round…I was a good girl following all the rules…not one ounce of cheating!

Now, if you followed my last HCG diet journey, you know that I didn’t have any foods that weren’t on Dr. Simeons’ original HCG protocol. Not only that…I had to know HCG really worked. I absolutely had to know it was all everyone souped it up to be. So, i didn’t take supplements at all- think i went thru supplement withdrawal. I didn’t take my daily fiber supplements, antioxidants or super-foods. I didn’t drink my twice daily regimen of bentonite detoxificant and I didn’t do colonics…not even one! As hard as it was, I even walked very slow all the time to ensure I wasn’t burning cals from physical activity.

What was the result of all of my HCG skeptical antics?

I lost over 33 pounds and over 13 inches in 6 weeks!!! I dropped 4 dress sizes!!! Most of all for the 1st time almost ever I followed the rules and directions, and completed something successfully by surpassing my weight loss goal of 30 pounds. What’s better than all this is that I gave myself some much deserved love, care, and attention. This is what it really is about – Loving Yourself – Caring For Yourself!

This is kinda my 3rd – 2nd round on HCG…Huh?

I finished my 1st HCG Diet around January 31st. So why the long break? I actually started a 2nd round 6 weeks later in March and on my 2nd gorge day, i found out my dad (may God have mercy on him) passed away over seas. I lasted about a week then I didn’t have the emotional and mental stamina to HCG it through :) . After a 2 week break, I started again and it also lasted less than a week. It’s absolutely critical to have you heart and your mind right to follow the HCG protocol. This is the case for any weight loss strategy, otherwise the result is yo-yo dieting. FYI yo-yo dieting is more damaging to the body than being obese/overweight.

My goal this 2nd round is to experiment a little by adding foods to Dr. Simeons’ list…chocolate, broccoli, extra virgin coconut oil, Zija Smart Mix, and Zija xm3 capsules, to name a few. To be honest I’ve only committed to doing 23 days this time. I’m not sure if it’s because of the rocky start of my 1st and 2nd- 2nd round or something else…like enjoying my favorite ripe fruits during the summer season. Once I’m done with the 21st injection, I’ll decide at that time to go longer.

Curious to see what the scale says in the morning, since i ate more cals and some foods not on Dr. Simeons’ list. Oh and another rule I’m breaking- taking & starting HCG while on TOM. Hey…I’m finally ready no stopping now. Dr. Simeons says NOT to start when TOM starts so if I see the scale isn’t going down by Saturday, I’ll put it off again…smh!
